Jeffery Walker is an accomplished attorney with a dynamic career dedicated to public service and advocating for justice. Licensed in Florida since 2014, Jeffery’s extensive experience spans multiple facets of the legal field, making him a formidable force in both administrative and civil law.

Jeffery began his journey as an Administrative Hearing Officer for the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, where he ensured fair and just resolutions in disputed reemployment assistance claims. He then served as a Senior Attorney with Children’s Legal Services, advocating for child safety and welfare, and later at the Office of Regional Counsel, Civil Conflict & Criminal Defense, handling complex dependency and criminal cases.

In private practice at the Open Law Group, Jeffery championed veterans’ disability compensation cases, landlord-tenant disputes, and diverse family law matters. His commitment to his clients earned him a stellar reputation in the private sector.

Seeking to broaden his expertise, Jeffery joined Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company as an Associate General Counsel, handling complex civil litigation related to property and casualty losses. His time there was driven by a desire to gain experience in another area of law, guided by his belief that “I refuse to believe that a thing cannot be learned.” This philosophy underscores his relentless pursuit of knowledge and his effort to learn a little about everything.

Currently, as an Associate Attorney at Property Litigation Group, Jeffery represents plaintiffs in property litigation cases, leveraging his deep understanding of their struggles to ensure they receive the compensation they deserve.
