Rachel E. Bolshin is an Attorney at The Property Litigation Group PLLC specializing in representing plaintiffs in property damage lawsuits and other areas of civil litigation. With a background in both defense and plaintiff representation, Ms. Bolshin brings a unique perspective to her practice, which is centered around advocating for homeowners and other clients seeking justice and compensation for property damage and related claims.
Ms. Bolshin’s practice involves handling complex property damage cases, guiding clients through the intricacies of insurance disputes, and pursuing claims against insurers for bad faith and unfair settlement practices. She collaborates with engineers, general contractors, and other expert witnesses to build compelling cases and secure favorable outcomes for her clients.
Ms. Bolshin earned her Juris Doctor with honors (Cum Laude) from St. Thomas University College of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada.
During law school, Ms. Bolshin demonstrated her advocacy skills as President of the Moot Court Board, representing St. Thomas University in prestigious competitions such as the John J. Gibbons Moot Court Competition, as well as the National Civil Rights and Liberties Moot Court Competition, where she was a Quarter Finalist and received an Award for her brief over 32 law schools.
She was also a member of the Appellate Litigation Clinic, where she was one of six law students in Florida to argue a criminal appeal before the Third District Court of Appeal. Due to her excellence in courtroom advocacy, Ms. Bolshin was one of 8 students from her law school named to the National Order of Barristers.
Ms. Bolshin’s commitment to the legal profession is reflected in her pro bono work. As a law student, she interned with the Office of the State Attorney for Miami-Dade County, where she received a Pro Bono Commendation Award for her dedication to providing over 100 hours of pro bono legal services. She also gained valuable experience interning with a firm specializing in various areas of civil litigation.
Licensed to practice law in Florida, Ms. Bolshin is an active member of the Trial Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar, the Broward County Bar Association, the South Miami Kendall Bar Association, and the Florida Association for Women Lawyers.
Originally from Toronto, Canada, Ms. Bolshin was a National level gymnast and represented Canada in international competitions before pursuing her legal career.
