Shawnricka Manley graduated magna cum laude from Florida Atlantic University and pursued a legal education at Ave Maria School of Law. During her tenure at Ave Maria, she held the position of Treasurer for the Black Law Student Association from 2017 to 2018. In addition to her leadership role, she gained practical experience by interning with the Florida Department of Children and Families from 2018 to 2019 and working at the Ave Maria Legal Clinic for Wills and Trusts in 2020.
After successfully passing the bar exam, she began her professional career at PLG as an associate attorney, focusing on handling third-party claims. Her time at PLG has been marked by significant growth, both personally and professionally. She has developed a strong foundation in third-party claims, contributing to the firm’s success and reputation.
Looking ahead, she is committed to continuing her professional development and aims to grow within the firm as much as possible. She aspires to become a partner, leveraging her skills and experience to contribute to the firm’s long-term success and to make a lasting impact in the legal field.
Outside of her professional life, she loves to watch “Bridgerton” with Queen Charlotte being her favorite character, she also often uses a London accent when explaining complicated topics to friends and family.
